Client’s Request
An American advisory and public accounting firm asked UDS to help them develop a comprehensive solution tailored to the specific processes of their industry. The aim was to:
- Automate jobs, staffing, task management, and status tracking
- Integrate with plenty of third-party platforms and the ERP system for Tax processing, Document management and Approvals gathering
Briefing

Thus, the project team decided to focus on the digital transformation of the client's workflow and operations management through the implementation of a centralized platform built around structured workflows, integrated client management, and automated task execution.
Preparation
- Highlight the business processes that need to be digitized or improved
- Define the core entities and relationships between projects, clients, and teams
- Map the existing processes related to project management, task handling, client communication, and reporting
- Document the desired workflows, including stage transitions, approvals, and documentation flows

Clients and documentation

A unified client database was implemented, enabling seamless client interaction through tailored task lists, data input forms, approvals, and document submissions.
The solution also introduced robust task and workflow management, including automated declaration submission processes and an integrated employee and clients’ signatures. Full user and team onboarding was achieved with role-based access controls, a centralized staff registry, and fine-grained permission management. The system was integrated directly with the client’s ERP, automating planning, budgeting, and billing workflows. Smart notifications and task reminders were added to enhance responsiveness. Dynamic dashboards and Power BI reports provided real-time visibility into project performance, resource allocation, and operational insights.
